Pyramid

The Pyramid are colossal structures used by ancient world for Religious purpose and as tombs or memorials of the kings. The largest and most remarkable of the pyramids are situated on the west side of the Nile River in Egypt. They are built from hard limestone and large blocks of limestone, specially on the outside surface. The original height of pyramid was 146.5 meters, but today it is only 137 meters high. They date from 3000 BC to 2300 BC. Great Skill was needed to quarry these large blocks, transport them and then place them in position. The Ancient Egyptians were very well organised and they had good understanding of technology, science and mathematics to enable them to build what has become known as of the wonders of the ancient world.
